Bigger than you expect it to be.
Excellent lamp. Low heat, fan is quiet. Includes dimmer control.Depending on the fragility of plant grown, be careful not to get the lamp too close!Fragile plants like lettuce/basil leave at least 50-60cm from tops of plants, it will burn if too close!Equivalent to 300W HPS for less than half the electricity costs.Worth the money.

Great for starting seeds indoors
This light is awesome for starting seeds indoors. So far, out of the lamps I've used, this one seems to replicate sunlight the best. It's a compact design, and the heat output and energy use seem low. The brightness adjustment allows you to provide different amounts of light depending on the seedling stage. However, it doesn't come with a timer, so you will either need to be home to turn the light on and off, or buy an outlet timer. Aside from it not having a timer, I have no complaints.

Nice Light!
I was amazed at how bright it is. I've got it on 75% over some seedlings.
